Mirage – textile art in hologram

The ENG-ARTS course combined technical and artistic thinking, through the collaboration of engineering and design students. The aim of our project was to develop a continuous surface in a spatial environment. Inspired by weaving structures we developed holograms which can be projected by laser light. The holograms were produced in collaboration with the Department of Applied Physics at Aalto University.
