YouTube Channel Authority
Building a channel with high authority is a great way to both improve the ranking of your videos as well as protect your channel at the same time.
Two major factors that affect your channel authority are:
The number of videos on your channel.
The number of subscribers on your channel.
It’s obvious how you increase the number of videos on your channel – just create and upload more videos!
So here are a few tips on how to build Youtube subscribers:
Posting useful, engaging content is the #1 most important factor in getting people to subscribe, make sure it's also relevant to your target audience too. It's pointless posting tutorials on how to put shelves up if you're wanting to sell lose weight products.
Still, even with the greatest videos in the world, it helps to give people a push in the right direction…so ask them to subscribe:
At the end of your video, stick in a call to action by telling people to subscribe to your channel and like your video.
Include a permanent watermark in your videos that people can click to subscribe, this is in the "branding" tab of your Youtube dashboard.
You can also add clickable annotations – a Note or a Speech Bubble – and point to your subscribe page setting the Link to the “Subscribe” option and putting your channel ID code into the box as shown in the video above.
Just remember – making it as easy as possible for people to so what you're asking them is how you increase conversions in anything.
